Yoyo!! I found the ans to all our problems!! haha.. Oct Bday dinner location has been located. haha.. It's Shokudo!! @ Raffles City!! It's a Japanese food bazaar!!
1) Why so gd leh?
Ans: Lots of JP food @ quite a reasonable price.
2) How to order?
Ans: When enter, will be given a smart card. Use that to buy!! No need to collect money afterwards!!

Been there before... it's pretty good but I thought pricing a little high compared to other Jap food in Sin.
Anyway, there are lots of more choices too... so I guess pro & cons.

jap = kawaii ma..
i saw the place.. very big.. should be enough for all of us..
i have checked out.. eating dinner at hotel cost more than $50.. or else we eat burnch on sun.. which is cheaper..
alt.. we go back to Dragon gate for dim sum brunch or koshibo at sun tec $40+++
now we cant decide where to go.. we just stick to this..

ya hor come to think of it we kinda of like jap food always eat jap food ha ha ha...
yes cant reserve... the place is very big... me and lion went last sun not many ppl still got a lot of seats we went ard 2pm plus lor..
If we cant decide wat to do den we can stick to this ba..
Go international buffet out of budget....
Go koshibo at suntec $40++ also cannot reserve and its out of budget ba..
i believe all buffet cant reserve seats ba? except for hotels i guess...
16th 16th 16th!! is a thurs and is boss day and somebody birthday..hahaha...

Count me out of Dragon Gate, the food is not up to standard, international buffet go shangri-la hotel about $80 per person. No jap food for me too, just went amara hotel for international buffet on monday, too much sashimi eaten.
i agree with steve jap food is GLOBALISATION lolx
